What is worth the time, and what is not

Worth your time

  • One full Ba Na Hills day. The resort sits away from the coast and has several visitor areas inside the complex.
  • A separate Son Tra day. The peninsula has its own roads, beaches and viewpoints, so a short visit benefits from fewer added crossings.

Skip it

  • Hue as a day trip. The route already uses all 3 days for Da Nang's different geographic directions.
  • A second highland attraction. Another long transfer would take time from the beach, peninsula or heritage day.
