Bali looks compact until traffic turns a short line on the map into hours in a car. One week works best with one southern base and one Ubud base, then day trips that radiate from each.
Is one week enough for Bali?
7 days are enough for 2 Bali bases, normally the south and Ubud, with only 1 hotel transfer in the middle.
North and east Bali deserve a longer trip or a different two base route rather than being stacked onto already full days from the south.
