Two facts decide a Cambodia week and both are recent enough that older guides get them wrong. The 3 day Angkor pass is valid on any 3 days inside a 10 day window rather than 3 in a row, so the temples can be broken up with rest days. And Siem Reap's airport moved in October 2023 to a site about 45 km out, replacing one that sat 7 km from town.
Which Cambodia itinerary should you pick?
The 7 day route, which uses 3 non consecutive days at Angkor and still leaves 2 nights for Phnom Penh.
Four days is Siem Reap only and that is a legitimate trip. Ten days is what buys the south coast at Kampot and Kep as well.

Why this page exists. Every RoamWeek page has to say something true of it and false of its siblings. For Cambodia that is the question of how long to stay, which the duration pages below answer one length at a time.
