Armenia is the easiest entry in the Caucasus and the most constrained exit. UK visitors get 180 visa free days a year, and nearly everything worth seeing sits within a day trip of Yerevan, so one base does the whole trip. The map's catch is at the edges: the borders with Azerbaijan and Turkey are closed, so the country connects overland only through Georgia and Iran, and a circuit must be drawn accordingly.
