Vietnam's long shape makes a one week highlights tour mostly an airport tour. This first route stays in the north and gives Hanoi, Ninh Binh and the coast enough time to be distinct.

This route chooses the north. A southern week should instead use Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Delta and one coastal stop.
