Paris itineraries by trip length
Last updated . Transport, entry and booking details can change. Check the named official sources before travel.
Paris rewards grouping, not a race between isolated landmarks. The useful choice is how many neighbourhood clusters fit without turning every day into a cross city commute.
How many days do you need in Paris?
3 days are enough for a focused first visit built around the Seine, the western landmarks and one northern neighbourhood.
Add time for smaller museums, markets or day trips rather than adding more distant stops to the same three days.

Why this page exists. Every RoamWeek page has to say something true of it and false of its siblings. For Paris that is the question of how long to stay, which the duration pages below answer one length at a time.
